NEW YORK, Feb 24, 2015 (BUSINESS WIRE) — OnForce Solar, a leading provider of solar energy systems, announced that the Town of Woodstock, NY has awarded the firm a 650 kW solar project. The planned solar array will be built on 3 acres near the wastewater treatment plant located on state Route 212.

OnForce Solar will own the project in its entirety and anticipates investing approximately $2M to install, operate, and maintain the solar installation pursuant to a 20-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). There will be absolutely no expense to Woodstock other than the cost of purchasing electricity, which will be at a reduced rate from what they are currently paying to their utility.
