The Green Living Guy

Seth Leitman has moderated panels, forums and seminars since he was in the Student Government at the University at Albany through his tenure with the State of New York till today. Here he is moderating the alternative fuel/electric car debate for a great panel.

It is one of the things Leitman does best.

May of 2009, Leitman moderated a forum on electric cars Batteries and Ethanol. During the panel talk swung from boosting efficiency of battery technology to debating the merits of biofuels, hydrogen, military spending and more. It was moderated by Seth Leitman, who blogs as Green Living Guy, edits McGraw-Hill’s “Green Guru Series” and is the best-selling author of Build Your Own Electric Vehicle, Second Edition and Build Your Own Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle.

On the panel to represent Big Auto was Chris Colquitt, a driver relationship manager for GM who serves as a primary point of contact for participants in the company’s Project Driveway, the largest market test of fuel cell technology to date. Colquitt said that everything is looking good for the highly anticipated launch of the Chevy Volt for late 2010. “At GM we’re excited by EVs. We’re also on track to reduce oil use by 30% with cellulosic ethanol by 2030,” said Colquitt.

His talks explain his story which is very pertinent to the real world. While obtaining his Master of Public Administration at the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy in 1996, he studied how the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund were essential for providing for an International Green Economy. His development project research was about solar and wind power programs in Latin America.

While at the State of New York, he managed the clean bus, alternative fueled and electric car programs. Leitman can REALLY provide insight into Who Really Killed The Electric Car and how electric car has risen since.

He talks about Building Your Own Electric Vehicle and Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicle and how with alternative fuels, we can begin the transition to an all electric car fleet.

Since his next two upcoming books are Solar Energy DeMystified and Green Lighting, Seth Leitman has a wide breath of clean energy expertise.

Seth will then show audiences how cutting-edge, positive environmental products and political changes are occuring to shift our economy and energy change toward a more green, clean and energy efficient world.

He will then take Q&A to answer for people where the future is headingand how you can go green simply, cost effective and more importantly with a real payback, tax cut utility cost reduction blah blah whatever.  It’s a cut in your energy costs.
