Proof Eyewear is also eager to announce a Do Good Project that will serve the communities of El
Salvador. Proof is partnering with HELP International in executing projects related to economic development, environmental conservation, education, and visual health.

Proof’s founder and CEO, Brooks Dame, is excited to join forces with HELP International for the project,

“We’ve worked with HELP in the past and admire their initiatives. The partnership will make it possible for volunteers to join us in executing the project in early June.”

As a brand, Proof is designed to be able to give back on a multitude of levels. Last year, Proof was able to build two eye clinics in different areas of India. Both clinics have continued to provide sightgiving surgeries to the Indian community where over ¼ of the world’s blind population resides. The two eye clinics have since restored sight to thousands proving that a little help can go a long way. Brooks believes that it all leads back to working together, “We know firsthand how important it is to see possibility where others may not. As a company, we want to lead by example and give back to our local and global community any chance we get.”

For The El Salvador Project, Proof Eyewear released 84 limited edition frames in 2015. The colorful print on the wooden frames was inspired by internationally recognized Salvadoran artist, Fernando Llort Choussy.

Anyone interested in volunteering for The El Salvador Project with HELP International and Proof Eyewear can submit an application at http://helpinternational.org.

ECO Line

The ECO (Environmental Conscious Optics) Collection is hand layered from a cotton-based acetate and the finest woods available. Every pair in the ECO Collection comes standard with a polarized lens for the clearest visuals possible. The ECO Collection is completely renewable, biodegradable and hypoallergenic. Each frame goes through a 15-step handmade process to create this one of a kind piece. The ECO Collection solidifies Proof as the leader in sustainable eyewear.

“We’ve been hard at work designing this collection over the last year, so this release is highly anticipated for us to say the least. We’re able to offer some truly unique shapes that we haven’t been able to because of our limitations on sustainable materials . Aluminum adds an entirely new element to our current sustainable collections: Wood, Skate, and Eco. Offering a metal frame option gives the Proof line a full range of options.” Tanner Dame, COO of Proof Eyewear.

The Aluminum Collection comes from the purist element in the earth’s crust, which is low density and has the ability to resist decomposition. Moreover, each frame features spring-loaded hinges, premium quality polarized lenses, wood accents on the temples and fully adjustable ear and nose pieces. Aluminum is great because it’s lightweight, malleable, and infinitely recyclable. Sticking to Proof’s sustainable initiative, this collection allows customers to wear classic looks while keeping their human footprint to a minimum.
