For starters, Hotel BPM Brooklyn is accepted as a Silver level GreenLeader. A GreenLeader into the TripAdvisor® GreenLeaders™ program. This program helps travelers plan greener trips. They can do that because the App identifies environmentally-friendly accommodations across the U.S.
In addition and as a designated TripAdvisor GreenLeader, Hotel BPM has met a set of environmental standards. Those standards get sub contracted out for TripAdvisor by a leading “environmental consulting firm”. So then they have input from expert partners. Further, the more green practices a hotel has in place, the higher its GreenLeader level.
As well, Travelers can now search for accommodations that have a GreenLeaders status on the TripAdvisor site. Further, they can also view a detailed list of environmentally-friendly practices expected at each location. That’s from the air conditioner units and lighting to the in-room amenities. Cause Hotel BPM continues to make great strides to be “green.”
In conclusion, the TripAdvisor GreenLeaders program is in partnership with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s ENERGY STAR® program. Also the U.S. Green Building Council, and the United Nations Environment Programme. Finally, for more information, please visit www.tripadvisor.com/GreenLeaders including China under daodao.com
