EV Charging and Emergency Power That Can Survive Flooding to Over Nine Feet
SAN DIEGO – June 16th, 2020 – Envision Solar International, Inc., (Nasdaq: EVSI, EVSIW) (“Envision Solar,” or the “Company”), the leading producer of unique and sustainable infrastructure products. That’s for electric vehicle charging, energy security and outdoor media. They have announced that its flood-proof EV ARC™ product is now patent pending. All through U.S. Patent Application No. 16/898,097.
I GOT A VIDEO TOUR TO SEE THEM BUILDING THEM
The flood proof EV ARC™ 2020 incorporates all the benefits of previous generations of EV ARC™ products. For it can now withstand an inundation of over nine feet. That’s without suffering damage or ceasing to operate. For it’s transportable, but permanent. It can be deployed without construction or connections to the utility grid. Because the EV ARC™ 2020 is an ideal solution for the Gulf Coast, Florida Panhandle and also the entire East Coast. As well as any other environment where the potential for flooding exists. Moreover where electrical infrastructure is required.
As I’ve written before:
While traces of the bloom are always present offshore in the Gulf of Mexico, a new study published in the Journal of Geophysical Research-Oceans finds ocean circulation made 2018 the worst year for red tide in more than a decade.
By affecting the nutrient levels offshore, marine scientists at the University of South Florida (USF) showed that the ocean circulation played a controlling role. If nutrient levels offshore are high in spring due it’s not good. Because the upwelling of deeper ocean waters. For then there tends not to be major red tide blooms along the shoreline in fall.
Such upwelling did not occur in winter and spring of 2018. I mean allowing a new bloom to form offshore in spring and summer 2018. An upwelling circulation then set in toward the end of July, ensuring that the newly formed bloom would be carried to the coastline.
Moreover along the bottom where it reinforced what had already been in place from 2017.
EV Charging and Emergency Backup Power
The EV ARC™ product family provides a source of power for EV charging and emergency preparedness in locations where it is too expensive, too impactful or simply impossible to extend the utility grid. Because EV ARC™ products generate and store all their own electricity they are also ideal EV charging and emergency power solutions during grid failures such as blackouts and brownouts.
Traditional grid tied EV chargers and the cabling and conduits that supply them are generally destroyed by flooding. The new patent pending EV ARC™ 2020 will continue to generate and store electricity during flood conditions. The product’s emergency power panel is installed more than 10 feet above ground level and will continue to supply electricity during weather events which disable traditional sources of electrical power.
In conclusion, Envision believes that the combination of EV charging, emergency power and transportability is all the way to go. For it’ll make the patent pending flood proof EV ARC™ 2020 an essential tool. I mean in any fleet operator’s disaster preparedness program. As COVID-19 stimulus infrastructure funds are directed by Federal, State and Local Governments, the EV ARC™ will provide a shovel ready, American-made option that is vital and timely.
