Peugeot 3008 Hybrid4 : A New Era of Green Cars

Peugeot is now taking orders for the Peugeot 3008 HYbrid4 – the world’s first full diesel hybrid car.

The first deliveries of the Peugeot 3008 HYbrid4 are to be of an exclusive Limited Edition model of which only 300 are being made to celebrate the world’s first full Hybrid diesel car. Just 35 vehicles will be available in the UK. Hey!!! What about some green living cars in New York!! HUH??

The HYbrid4 combines the fuel efficient 2.0 litre HDi 163 bhp diesel engine and a 37 bhp electric motor. This is an ideal combination for a hybrid vehicle, as it provides excellent out of town fuel consumption of 74.4 mpg. It also offers CO₂ emissions of 99g/km on the Combined Drive Cycle.

The Peugeot 3008 HYbrid4 uniquely combines low CO₂ emissions, high levels of driving enjoyment, and reduced running costs. It also offers a maximum power output of 200 bhp, all-wheel drive, and zero emission vehicle mode (ZEV). Furthermore, CO₂ emissions in the Combined Drive Cycle, model dependent, start from 99 g/km.

The Limited Edition version has distinctive features from the 3008 HYbrid4 range that include special style items, all designed to emphasise the unique nature of the vehicle and its technological features. Externally, this includes dark tinted headlamps with integral chrome LED daylight running lights, which not only enhance visibility but also contribute to a striking aesthetic appeal. Additionally, a special Pearl White exterior body colour gives the vehicle a sophisticated and elegant look, setting it apart from standard models. The inclusion of chrome door handles adds a touch of luxury, while the meticulously designed alloy wheels further highlight the car’s sporty character. Inside the vehicle, you’ll find premium materials and cutting-edge technology that complement its exterior, creating a perfect harmony of style and innovation that truly embodies the spirit of modern driving.

Internally, the exclusive touches are the special two-tone leather trim, a fascia completely covered in leather and a numbered aluminium plate on the centre console. Guérande-coloured overstitching features on the door trim panels, central arm rest and the fascia. In addition, there is a special leather steering wheel with aluminium detailing. A full length Cielo panoramic glass roof and front parking sensors complete the extensive high-level specification.

The Peugeot 3008 HYbrid4 range starts with a £26,600 model, with CO₂ emissions of just 99 g/km and deliveries commence for the UK market in November 2011.

The price for the special Limited Edition Peugeot 3008 HYbrid4 is £29,995 and exclusive UK customer deliveries start in October.
