Li-ion Motors Corp (OTCBB: LMCO)(FRANKFURT: LL9L), winner of the 2010 X-Prize using 21st Century Design & Engineering of emission-free, all electric, high speed, long range automotive propulsion systems using the latest lithium-ion battery technology, will exhibit the Inizio, the world’s fastest, 100% electric supercar at RECon-The Global Retail Real Estate Convention at the Las Vegas Convention Center May 22-25, 2011 co-exhibiting with American Clean Energy, LLC (ACE). The Inizio is a 100% electric supercar, capable of 170 MPH with acceleration from 0-60 MPH in 3.4 Seconds with ZERO EMISSION.  The Inizio has a 114 inch wheel-base and a 78 inch wide.  Li-ion Motors Corp, maker of the WAVE II, a two seat commuter car with 28 cubic feet of trunk space won first place in the “Side by Side” competition in the 2010 Progressive Automotive X-Prize with 187 MPGe.

ACE will be exhibiting The Solar Tracking Tree™. Designed by Envision Solar, it’s an architecturally stunning canopy based solar system that captures the sun’s rays and produces clean, abundant electricity from your property or parking area. This revolutionary, turnkey product follows the sun throughout the day, making it one of the most cost effective solutions on the market today.  The simplicity of the tracking system improves operating performance, eliminating operations and maintenance problems associated with other more complex solutions.  Your electricity savings typically exceeds the cost of your lease and as traditional energy prices increase over time, you will actually put more money in your pocket every year. The Solar Tracking Tree TM can be equipped with many options including electric car charging stations.   “Co-exhibiting with American Clean Energy with their electric car charging station built into the base of The Solar Tracking Tree makes for a natural fit and we are excited to support them by exhibiting our Inizio.”  “By having charging stations located at commercial retail sites simply add to the benefits of owning an all-electric car with flexibility to charge the car while shopping at the mall or other locations.” Says Stacey Fling, President, Li-ion Motors Corp.

Each year RECon hosts over 1,000 exhibitors and 30,000 shopping center professionals.  With that many industry professionals and the deal making floors open for three consecutive days, there is a lot of business generated at the show.  In fact, ICSC estimates that roughly 50% of industry deals are conceived of or consummated at RECon.
