Easy-to-use, cost-effective, Web-based solution enables electronic management of compliance obligations imposed by environmental regulations or facility-specific permits

MADISON, CT – November 20, 2013 – ProEnvironmentWare, Inc., a developer of Web-based environmental compliance management solutions, announced the launch of ProComplianceWare™ (PCW), a cost-effective, easy-to-use, Web-based environmental management system that enables companies to electronically manage compliance obligations imposed by environmental regulations or facility-specific permits.

More than 800,000 facilities in the United States are regulated by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), which monitors the quality of the air; drinking, surface, and ground water; ecosystem status; and the use and release of toxic or hazardous substances. The agency is mandated by federal laws including the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act and Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, Safe Drinking Water Act and the Toxics Release Inventory data.

Any facility regulated by the EPA or state agencies – including automobile dealerships, marinas, scraps yards, chemical distributors, hospitals and universities – can use PCW for improved permit report organization, compliance due-date tracking and searchable document archives.

“With regulations, facility-specific permits, inspections and sampling work to be performed, it’s difficult for many businesses to keep up with environmental requirements,” says Edward Sailer, president of ProEnvironmentWare. “Even with the most skilled staff, compliance deadlines are often missed, inspection reports lost and agency submissions overlooked. ProComplianceWare is a cost-effective way to substantially improve a company’s level of environmental compliance.”

The only system of its kind, PCW electronically tracks deadlines for all required inspections, reporting, training, and sampling. The system provides the ability to assign compliance tasks to specific personnel and sends email reminders to ensure timely completion.

Compliance documents are secured in one easily accessible location online, improving record-keeping and adherence to all permits and environmental requirements. Immediate and constant access to records can be provided to corporate offices or third-party consultants on any computer, tablet or smartphone to review completeness and accuracy of filings. Failure to complete a required action results in email notification to management or third-party auditors.
