Earth Day New York Celebrations
Earth Day New York continues to evolve and expand its celebrations, offering a diverse range of activities for environmentally conscious New Yorkers. The 2014 Earth Day Festival at Union Square, scheduled for Sunday, April 14th from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, promises to be a vibrant gathering of thousands advocating for the planet’s well-being.
This year’s festival features an impressive lineup of exhibitors, including major environmental organizations, local businesses, and sustainability-focused companies. Attendees can explore:
- interactive workshops
- enjoy live performances
- and engage with dozens of environmental non-profits and climate campaigns.
The event also includes special attractions; such as a green vehicle runway show and dedicated areas for kids’ activities.
Activities for Children
In addition to the main festival, Earth Day New York has expanded its reach. That’s various events organized by the NYC Parks Department throughout the week.
As Earth Day continues to grow in significance, these events serve as powerful reminders of our collective responsibility to protect and preserve our planet. By bringing together diverse voices and offering multiple ways to engage, Earth Day New York 2014 aims to inspire action and foster a sense of environmental stewardship among all attendees.
