This Kia Optima Hybrid totally totally represented.

Better watch out Toyota and Lexus because Kia Motors is stepping up. Every hybrid, gas and electric car I’ve tested always is a bit better than the rest in one way or another. They really are. So I can’t stand here and say something else.

Kia Optima Hybrid Electric Car is Sweet!

This hybrid electric car is less expensive, sturdy and a luxurious version of the 2014 Kia Optima hybrid electric car. The car tested an average 35-40 miles per gallon and at certain times got 50 miles per gallon. So last time reported about this review for 2013 version was different than the 2014.

Plus when you calculate price and the test was in the middle of the winter in 2013. Winter matters on the fuel economy without question. Traction in the snow, heat, electric for the windows all matters.

Really being serious, this car held up to all the tests for a large mid-size car.

What makes this a Great Hybrid Electric Car is its exceptional combination of advanced technology, environmental sustainability, and remarkable fuel efficiency. The Optima Hybrid uses a 2.4-liter engine with a six-speed automatic transmission, and a 30kW electric motor. The batteries are lightweight lithium polymer batteries and gets 37 miles per US gallon average and 39 miles per US gallon highway. Although on the highway, the car got 45 mpg and 50 mpg in the city due to the EV mode.

Interior on the EX version Proves Cost Effective Luxury

The interior really had a luxury touch. From the white leather sears, to the heated seat option to the luxury features available in the back seat proved comparable to higher end Lexus vehicles. There was a blue ‘piping,’ and additional leatheresque touches on the door and armrest as well.

Not including the twin sunroofs and mesh curtains for the rear seating was equivalent to a Lexus ES 350h 2013.
