In an effort to promote cross-country electrification, Ford charging stations, they recently launched EV 1-2-3 Charge. It’s a program available in California and Maryland. Especially for anyone who decides to buy or lease a Ford C-MAX Energi. 

EV 1-2-3 Charge will also provide unlimited, complimentary charging sessions of four hours each. This will be at more than 500 NRG EVgo and SemaConnect public stations across the nation. Best part: it’s also for three years.

Beginning in December, Ford will make it easy for customers to find these charge stations with MyFord® Mobile. Especially which will identify participating stations with a pink-colored icon. MyFord Mobile and myfordmobile.com allow plug-in electric vehicle owners to have a seamless connected car experience. Thereby giving them the ability to easily lock and unlock their vehicle. So it finds where they parked, accesses charge status, mileage and driving efficiency. In addition, you can schedule charge times. I mean all with the touch of a finger. The app may be downloaded to an iPhone or Android phone and to Apple or Android Wear smart watches.

Eligible Customers 

Eligible customers in Maryland and California purchasing or leasing a 2016 Ford C-MAX Energi between Oct. 1, 2015 and Oct. 1, 2016 will receive an EV 1-2-3 Charge registration packet in the mail. Similar to traditional gas cards, once the access card is activated, customers will be able to access NRG EVgo and SemaConnect charge stations with the convenience of one card.
