The German based leader in full-service solar power systems for residential homes, MEP Werke GmbH. Moreover and its sponsor and private equity investor Strasser Capital GmbH are to join the partner program of Climate Bonds Initiative (CBI) effective immediately. To MEP Werke this is the first important step towards the planned emission of “Green Bonds“.
CBI is an international, investor-focused not-for-profit and the only organization in the world focusing on mobilizing the bond market for climate change solutions. For MEP Werke, who designs, finances and installs rooftop PV systems. It also has developed a long-term solar PV lease product (the MEP Solar Lease) offered to homeowners throughout Germany.
So CBI is the ideal partner for financing structures. MEP Werke GmbH aim to offer institutional investors the possibility to invest in green bonds. To demonstrate the potential investors that MEP green bonds are a secured green investment opportunity, the cooperation with CBI ensures meeting CBI standards right from the start.
