For the modern HALL Wines Tasting Room offers world-class wines and entertaining education. I mean one-of-a-kind tours and tastings. Also a culinary center, state-of-the-art and fully sustainable production facilities. All as a result with an impressive collection of modern art.

All throughout the property moreover, these pieces of art were both purchased and commissioned for the location.

Most recently, a massive, 35 foot steel Rabbit, “Bunny Foo-Foo”. One designed by artist Lawrence Argent. For it was installed at the entrance to the property.

Sustainable Architecture at Hall Wines

St. Helena-based designer, Jarrod Denton of Signum Architecture is the one. All known moreover for his focus on sustainable architecture. For he spearheaded the design of the Visitor Center with Architect Alison Maloney.

The team was also inspired by the Hall Wines location. All the flat valley floor. So it also wanted to create a space. One that felt like it was stretching between the Howell Mountains to the East. Then finally to the Mayacamus Mountains and to the West.

Stone and Steel

The stone and steel structure is encased in a transparent glass curtain from floor to ceiling. All allowing visitors to truly take in the beauty of the landscape at Hall Wines vineyards. The only manufactured element – 18-foot tall glazing that ribbons around the new building. All keeping the design clean and minimal, allowing it to dissolve into the surrounding region.

The Hall Wines family completed the restoration of the 1885 Bergfeld Winery and merged history and innovation with the completion of California’s first LEED® Gold Certified winery. In addition to a stunning Visitor Center at Hall Wines. Moreover and state-of-the-art gravity flow winemaking facility.
