Introducing Virgin Buildings, capturing iconic Virgin moments in a new generation of ultra-green skyscrapers.

From a spaceship design in Sydney, to a plane design in London. Then from a balloon design in New York, to a kiteboard design in Cape Town. So these are extraordinary Virgin Buildings. They will positively change the landscape for the environment. As well as architecture and cities around the world.

As I’ve reported before:

The United States WILL save $1.2 trillion in savings. It was first assumed by 2020 by “investing in energy efficient buildings”. That’s according to a new study from McKinsey & Co. report.  This new report called, “Unlocking Energy Efficiency in the U.S. Economy”. It reports that 900,000 new jobs could be created and 1.1 gigatons of greenhouse gas could be reduced annually.

The catch before was about $50 billion a year needs to be green buildings over the next ten years (report 9 years ago)

However, the report adds that if we actually do what they recommend!   Can you say we are talking about a 23 percent drop in energy consumption!

In addition to the striking designs, Virgin Buildings will feature renewable and recycled materials. As well as cutting edge environmental considerations. They’ll collect and recycle 100% of their water, using some of this for novel heating and cooling systems.

As well as vertical gardens to grow food in the buildings. Some of the buildings will even rotate to change how they interact with the sun.

Physicist and television presenter Professor Brian Cox shared his expertise with the team too:
